OneHope – God’s Word for Every Child & Youth

OneHope is a global ministry helping children and youth encounter Jesus through God’s Word. Working alongside local churches and ministry partners, OneHope develops research-based, age-appropriate and culturally relevant Scripture engagement resources for the next generation.

Since 1987, OneHope has reached more than 2 billion children and youth with God’s Word. Its resources combine Scripture with print, digital media, film, storytelling, apps, leadership development and discipleship tools.

Scripture Engagement for the Next Generation

OneHope develops resources specifically for children and young people, helping churches communicate the Gospel in ways that are understandable, engaging and appropriate for different ages and cultural contexts.

Resources include:

• Printed Scripture engagement programs
• Books of Hope
• Bible stories and storytelling resources
• Digital Bible resources and apps
• Films and multimedia
• Children’s ministry resources
• Youth ministry resources
• Discipleship materials
• Leadership development programs
• Training and research for ministry leaders

Bible App for Kids

Developed in partnership with YouVersion, the Bible App for Kids helps young children discover major Bible stories through interactive animation, narration, music and activities.

The app is free and available in many languages. OneHope also provides complementary resources such as the Bible App for Kids Book of Hope, curriculum and Leader’s Guide to help churches and families engage children with Scripture.

Programs for Children & Youth

OneHope has developed a wide range of contextualized programs for different ages, cultures and ministry environments. Examples include:

• Book of Hope – Scripture-based resources presenting the Gospel and biblical truth to children and youth
• Stories of Hope – Bible stories, activities and discussion questions helping children understand God’s story from Genesis to Revelation
• Lead Today – biblical leadership development for young people, developed in partnership with EQUIP
• Bible App for Kids – an interactive Bible experience for young children
• Kids Bible Experience – digital Scripture engagement designed especially for preteens
• FEED – resources helping youth leaders engage Gen Z in conversations around biblical truth

Research-Based & Contextualized

A distinctive part of OneHope’s approach is its investment in research on children and youth. Research helps churches and ministries understand the beliefs, behaviors, challenges and spiritual needs of emerging generations.

These insights are used to develop Scripture engagement programs that are appropriate for specific ages, cultures and ministry contexts.

Equipping the Local Church

OneHope works closely with local churches and ministry partners. The goal is not only to distribute resources, but to equip Christian communities to evangelize and disciple children and youth over the long term.

Churches and ministries can access resources, training and research to strengthen their ministry to the next generation. OneHope also collaborates with denominations, networks and Christian organizations to develop and implement programs in different regions of the world.
