About
What is Great Commission Network?
The history of the last centuries shows that revival and renewal movements have the greatest impact when they work hand in hand with an evangelism and discipleship movement. Various Christian leaders around the world are observing a new phase in which the two are coming together. This combination of revival and evangelism is a central concern of the Great Commission Network (GCN). Through GCN, many millions of Christians around the world can be equipped to hear God’s voice and share the message of reconciliation with authority.
These are the focal points of the Great Commission Network (GCN):

1. Networking and collaboration for the Great Commission
A network of “facilitating teams” (teams that empower, enable, connect) promotes collaboration on personal, local, national and global levels in the Body of Jesus. Historical structures and organic groups are also networked to create synergy for the Great Commission.
On a global level, the Great Commission Network works with the World Evangelical Alliance, Lausanne Movement, GO Movement, Global 2033, Billion Soul Harvest, prayer and church planting movements, denominations and house church movements.
At the national and local levels, GCN “networkers and facilitators” work within existing structures. City Movements” are especially encouraged. Following the motto “Seek the best for the city” (Jeremiah 29:17), Christians partner for their city or region.
2. Spiritual renewal & Jesus lifestyle

The “Jesus Lifestyle” begins in the daily encounter with our heavenly Father – in prayer, in listening, in worship, in a nourishing Bible diet (instead of just snacking on the Bible). In fellowship with other Christians, gifts and ministries develop and complement each other.
A special blessing and preparation for a “rich harvest” is found in common repentance to God (2 Chronicles 7:8-18), where the Body of Christ meets and serves God in unity.
As individuals, as families, and as a community, we can participate in the “great fishing” by praying, relating, serving, witnessing, and discipling. Where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, spiritual growth and multiplication occurs.
3. Teamwork & multiplying disciples

“Go and make disciples of all people” (Matthew 28:18-20). This is the mission Jesus Christ gave us. The amazing good news is that every Christian can start a discipleship movement. These self-multiplying discipleship movements have grown faster than the world’s population from the time of the apostles until today. They unfold as house church movements in the midst of persecution or as small Bible discovery groups in our culture. God can use children and youth as well as adults and seniors.
There is currently a worldwide trend toward the “restoration” of the five-fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16). In the Great Commission Network, these ministry teams for regional churches are cross-denominational and cross-regional and multiply themselves. Prayer, evangelism, discipleship, church planting and transformation work hand in hand. Personal, local, national, global.
4. Partners, tools, networking platform

In order to equip Christians, church planters and churches, GCN partners with proven ministries such as Alpha Course, Jesus Film, Evangelism Explosive, Beyond Success, LiFe Seminar, THEFOUR, oneHope, Global Alliance for Church Multiplication, Community Bible Engagement, Heaven in Business, Activate International, via, BigLife, BEsent, Advance Mentoring Groups, Every Home for Christ, Campus for Christ and others.
Concrete projects and training take place on a national and regional level, while online digital networking communities and tools are used to support
local Kingdom work. Our neighbors and unreached peoples in far-off lands are to be reached with equal priority (Acts 1:8).
Renewal, networking, equipping, working together for the Great Commission – this is what the Great Commission Network is all about. A network of Christians involved on a personal, local, national and global level as God leads each one. We cordially invite you to be part of this “catching of fish”. Jesus also addresses us: “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men!” (Mark 1:17).
