Activate International – Activating the Church for Local Mission

Activate International equips churches and Christian leaders to activate believers to become the hands and feet of Jesus in their local communities.

The vision is to see the global Body of Christ unified and activated to bring transformation to cities and communities. Rather than seeing church primarily as a gathering people attend, Activate encourages churches to become dynamic families of disciples living on God’s mission in everyday life.

Activate Every Believer

Activate International recognizes that many Christians are not yet actively participating in God’s mission in their communities. Local churches can become catalysts that help believers connect with the hearts, homes and needs of people around them.

The approach helps church leaders develop both a vision and practical ways for their congregations to live missionally and engage their communities.

Training

Activate provides training resources and practical steps that help church leaders develop a vision and practice of mission with their congregations.

The goal is not simply to organize occasional outreach activities, but to develop a sustainable culture of mission in which believers increasingly see everyday life and their local community as part of their calling.

Coaching

Activate continues in relationship with church communities through coaching. This helps leaders and churches apply what they are learning and develop a missional culture that can impact their city.

The emphasis on ongoing relationship allows local teams to develop approaches that fit their own cultural and community context.

Connecting

Activate connects Christian leaders from different parts of the world through relationships, shared experiences and testimonies. This allows ideas and practical examples of local mission to be shared across churches, cities and nations.

Missional Partnerships

Activate International builds long-term missional partnerships with Jesus-focused churches and communities around the world.

These partnerships are intended to help local teams develop missional movements in their cities and establish sustainable models of an activated church that are appropriate for their culture.
