Advance Groups – Evangelism Mentoring & Multiplication
Advance Groups equips Christians to create a culture of evangelism through small peer-mentoring groups. Participants usually meet once a month for around two hours to study the Bible, pray, discuss the Gospel, encourage one another and share honestly about their faith and witness.
The aim is to help every Christian understand the Gospel more deeply and communicate it confidently through everyday words and actions.
Five Key Principles
Each Advance Group is shaped by five key principles:
- Commitment – meeting regularly and intentionally
- Sharpening – growing through Bible study and constructive discussion
- Accountability – sharing honestly and reflecting on personal faith and witness
- Community – praying for one another and staying connected between meetings
- Multiplication – encouraging participants to start new groups and equip others
After 12–18 months, participants are encouraged to consider starting new groups while remaining connected to their original group.
