Life Toolbox

LiFe Toolbox – Practical Tools for Evangelism

LiFe Toolbox is a practical and flexible toolkit designed to equip Christians and churches for personal and relational evangelism. It provides training tools for believers as well as evangelistic topics that can be used to engage people who are exploring questions about life and faith.

The toolbox has developed through many years of practical experience with LiFe Seminars and other evangelistic initiatives. The tools can be used together as a complete approach or integrated into existing outreach activities, church programs and evangelistic projects.

Equipping Christians for Evangelism

A central part of the LiFe Toolbox is the preparation of Christians to accompany people on their journey toward faith in Jesus Christ.

The toolbox includes five central training topics that help believers develop a vision for evangelism and prepare practically for outreach. Topics include:

• Preparing evangelistic projects
• Understanding the role of a companion
• Using the Engel Scale to understand a person’s journey toward faith
• Sharing a personal testimony in approximately three minutes
• Prayer for friends and people who are exploring faith

Five Evangelistic LiFe Topics

The toolbox also includes five evangelistic LiFe topics designed to engage with important questions people ask about life, God and faith.

• How can we be happy?
• Why does God allow this?
• What is the meaning of life?
• Discovering the gift of God
• Life in new dimensions

The topics address questions relevant to contemporary people and connect them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They can be adapted for different cultural contexts.

LiFe Toolbox is designed to be flexible. The materials have been used in different evangelistic settings, including:

The tools can also be combined with other evangelistic approaches and activities.
