Founder and Leadership
Empowered21 was co-founded by Dr. Billy Wilson, who also serves as its Global Chair. Dr. Wilson is the President of Oral Roberts University (ORU) and a prominent leader in the Spirit-empowered movement. Known for his dedication to global evangelism and unity, Dr. Wilson plays a crucial role in shaping the movement’s vision and direction.
The movement is led by an exceptional global leadership team that works closely with regional leaders to ensure that Empowered21 fulfills its mission in every part of the world. In 2023, Ashley Wilson was appointed as the Global Executive Director, overseeing administration, strategic initiatives, and global partnerships.
The leadership team includes prominent leaders from across Spirit-empowered communities, such as representatives from Pentecostal, Charismatic, and independent churches around the world. These leaders provide spiritual guidance, foster unity, and ensure that Empowered21’s initiatives have a global impact.
